Due to the fact that every item is handmade by Bear and Clay, we do not accept any returns, exchanges or cancellations. All items at Bear and Clay are shipped carefully to prevent any damages, however once the packages are in USPS hands we can’t control how they treat them. If you receive a damaged item, please send us and email with a photo of the item within 24 hours of receiving your package. We will happily work something out with you. All items at Bear and Clay are completely handmade. Customer is conscious that items may vary slightly from the picture shown in the listing as every item is made uniquely by hand. Also, customer is conscious that during the handmade process it is impossible to made every item completely perfect. The beauty of a handmade item is that the little imperfections is what makes the item unique.

Bear and Clay is a one woman business. In case there is an emergency and your order is unable to be shipped within the timeframe stated by Bear and Clay, you will be contacted and further solutions will be talked through directly with the customer.


All items (excluding “made to order” items) will be shipped within 3-5 business days from the day the purchase was made.

For an item marked as “made to order”, please allow 1 to 2 weeks for it to be made and shipped to you. If there are more than one item purchased per transaction keep in mind that the time frame will increase.

If you purchase more than one item at a time and one of the items is “made to order”, please keep in mind that all of the items will shipped together once the “made to order” item is ready to ship.
